Data Deletion Request

How to request deletion

To request permanent deletion of your My Social Agent account and all associated data, send an email to support@mysocialagent.ai with the following:

  • Subject line: “Data Deletion Request”
  • Body: the email address associated with your account

We will permanently delete your account and all associated data within 30 days of receiving the request and send you a confirmation email when the deletion is complete.

What we delete

A data deletion request removes:

  • Your account profile and authentication records
  • Connected social media account credentials and access tokens (TikTok, Instagram, X, and any others)
  • Campaigns, content drafts, and uploaded assets
  • Generated videos, captions, and AI outputs attributed to your account
  • Strategy data, brand profiles, and onboarding answers you provided
  • Scheduled posts (cancelled if not yet published)

What we may retain

For legal, accounting, and fraud-prevention reasons, we may retain the following for the period required by law (typically up to 7 years):

  • Billing records and transaction history (anonymised where possible)
  • Records required to comply with tax, accounting, and audit obligations
  • Aggregated, anonymised analytics that cannot be tied back to you

Already published content

Posts that have already been published to your connected social media accounts (TikTok, Instagram, X, etc.) live on those platforms and are governed by each platform's own terms. Deleting your My Social Agent account does not automatically remove already-published posts. You can delete those posts directly through each platform.

Revoking app access

If you simply want to disconnect a social media account from My Social Agent (without deleting your account):

  • Instagram: Settings → Apps and websites → Active → Remove “My Social Agent”
  • TikTok: Settings → Privacy → Permissions → Manage app permissions
  • X: Settings → Security and account access → Apps and sessions → Connected apps

Revoking platform access invalidates our stored tokens automatically. To remove the rest of your data, please email us as described above.
